Sonic Summary

People Solutions is seeking a Class 1 Driver for a well-established client in the Crick area, with start times available Monday to Friday or Sunday to Thursday.
The position offers a competitive salary ranging from £17.50 to £24.81 per hour, depending on the time of day and overtime.
Candidates must have a valid UK Category CE Driving Licence and at least twelve months of experience driving CE vehicles.
Additional requirements include no more than six penalty points and possession of a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card.

CLASS 1 DRIVER

MONDAY - FRIDAY: START TIMES: 11:00 - 15:00

SUNDAY – THURSDAY START TIMES: 19:00 – 01:00

£17.50 - £24.81 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to join our well-established client based in the Crick area.

Rates of Pay:

DAYS

• Basic: £17.50 per hour
• Overtime: £23.95 per hour after 48 hours

NIGHTS

• Basic: £19.50 per hour
• Overtime: £24.81 per hour after 48 hours

Day to Day Duties

Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not be limited to:

• Depot to depot trunking
• Operate and drive various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure all cargo loaded and secured safely
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations

Essential Skills

As a Class 1 Driver you will need to:

• Hold a valid UK Category CE Driving Licence
• Have a minimum of twelve months experience driving CE vehicles
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
• Have a valid UK CPC Card & UK Digi Card

Desirable Experience

• Experience driving commercial vehicles would be beneficial.

Training

• Driver's Assessment will have to be completed.
