Class 1 Driver Tramping

HGV CLASS 1 DRIVER (TRAMPER)

Shifts: MONDAY TO FRIDAY - START TIMES: 06:00 – 08:00

Pay Rate: £17.00 PER HOUR

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a Class 1 Tramper Driver to join our well-established client based in the Northampton area.

Rates of Pay:

• Monday to Friday: £17.00 per hour
• £25.00 Night Out Allowance

Day to Day Duties:

Your duties as a Class 1 Driver will involve but not limited to:

• Class 1 Bulk Tipper Trailers between site's. Some trailer swaps or tipping as required.
• Operate and drive various Class 1 vehicles in a safe and efficient manner to and from delivery locations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Ensure all cargo is loaded and secured properly
• Adhere to traffic laws and regulations

Essential Skills:

As a Class 1 Driver you will need to:

• Hold a valid UK Category CE Driving Licence
• Have a minimum of twelve months experience driving CE vehicles
• No more than six penalty points for minor infringements and no major endorsement codes
• Have a valid UK CPC Card and UK Digi Card
• Must be able to speak and read a good level of English

Desirable Experience:

• Experience driving any commercial vehicles

Training:

• Training provided with ongoing support throughout
