Design Manager

Location: Northampton

Ridgeway & Co are seeking an inspirational Design Manager with a keen eye for detail and strong expertise in construction technology to join our growing team at an exciting stage of business expansion.

We are looking for a proven professional with experience delivering projects up to 20m, ideally within the industrial and fit-out sectors. The successful candidate will combine strong design leadership with hands-on technical experience to ensure high-quality, efficient project delivery.

Role Overview

As Design Manager, you will oversee the full project lifecycle, from initial design coordination through to handover and aftercare. You will be a key member of the project delivery team, ensuring design excellence and technical compliance throughout.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure client requirements are met and maintained throughout the design process

  • Coordinate effectively with designers, project teams, consultants, and clients

  • Lead the delivery of technically sound, high-quality design solutions

  • Support projects to run smoothly, on time, and within budget

  • Provide technical input to mitigate risk and resolve design challenges

Qualifications & Skills
