- Deliver high-quality lectures and practical sessions in Animal Welfare & Management
- Contribute to curriculum planning and development to meet evolving industry needs
- Tutor and manage groups of students, supporting both their academic and personal progress
- Lead and participate in live demonstrations and hands-on animal care sessions
- Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
- BSc (or equivalent) in Animal Science or a related field
- A strong knowledge base and hands-on industry experience across a range of animals, including small mammals, exotics, and large animals
- Experience in animal husbandry and welfare
- A minimum of grade C in GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)
- A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one, such as a CertEd or Diploma in Teaching and Learning)
- Prior experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
- A commitment to ongoing CPD and educational excellence
