Salary: £27,238 – £33,487 per annumAre you passionate about animal welfare and ready to inspire the next generation of animal care professionals?We’re looking for a dedicated Lecturer in Animal Welfare & Management to deliver engaging, industry-relevant teaching across a range of animal welfare courses. ?? Key Responsibilities:

Deliver high-quality lectures and practical sessions in Animal Welfare & Management
Contribute to curriculum planning and development to meet evolving industry needs
Tutor and manage groups of students, supporting both their academic and personal progress
Lead and participate in live demonstrations and hands-on animal care sessions
Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

? What We’re Looking For:

BSc (or equivalent) in Animal Science or a related field
A strong knowledge base and hands-on industry experience across a range of animals, including small mammals, exotics, and large animals
Experience in animal husbandry and welfare
A minimum of grade C in GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent)
A teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one, such as a CertEd or Diploma in Teaching and Learning)
Prior experience working with young people is desirable but not essential
A commitment to ongoing CPD and educational excellence
