Shift:
4 on 4 off (Days and nights) Every 7 rotations you get 18 shifts off! (meaning you work significantly less through the year, but your holidays are built into your pattern)
The Maintenance Engineer Role:
Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive breakdown repairs
Electrical fault finding on 3-phase systems, PLC-controlled machinery, and control panels
Mechanical work including conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, gearboxes
Working within a small, skilled team across a range of automated production machinery
Recording all maintenance activities using the CMMS
Requirements:
NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Engineering or similar (Apprenticeship trained ideal)
Proven experience as a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial setting
Electrical skills with the ability to fault find on PLCs (Siemens, Allen Bradley, etc.)
Good mechanical knowledge belts, bearings, pumps, gearboxes, etc.
Flexible and team-oriented with a proactive attitude to maintenance
