We are seeking a QSHE Specialist to enhance our commitment to Quality, Health, Safety, Wellbeing, and the Environment within our manufacturing processes. This role is crucial for ensuring that our operations adhere to globally recognised ISO standards and legislation, focusing on maintaining high standards of quality and safety for our diverse range of products.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Interpret, enhance, and ensure compliance with company policies including ISO 9001:2015, 14001:2015, and 45001:2018.
  • Support, review, maintain, and implement QSHE policies and procedures across all business areas.
  • Ensure compliance with QSHE management systems and relevant Health, Safety & Environmental legislation.
  • Provide QSHE advice and assistance to various departments and stakeholders.
  • Track, document, and report on QSHE objectives and KPIs.
  • Lead and participate in internal audits; ensure equipment maintenance schedules are adhered to with proper documentation.
  • Analyze QSHE data to identify trends and measure the effectiveness of improvements.
  • Identify and organize relevant QSHE training for employees.
  • Manage customer/supplier complaints and non-conformances using our tracking system, Entropy.
  • Investigate quality and H&S issues, reporting recurring problems to the QSHE Manager.
  • Conduct and review Risk Assessments for all business activities, including off-site operations.
  • Manage waste procedures and ensure compliance with legal documentation and permits.
  • Maintain high standards of workplace hygiene and safety, ensuring all new hires and visitors receive proper induction and training.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • NEBOSH, DSEAR, ATEX certification, or relevant ISO training/auditing experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of management systems, processes, and procedures relevant to QSHE.
  • Experience in Quality Assurance or Control within a manufacturing environment is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a meticulous and diligent approach.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence, coach, and support colleagues.
  • Knowledge of GMP, 5S workplace organisation, and root cause analysis techniques such as the 5-why approach and PDCA cycle would be advantageous.
