The position offers a pay rate of £13.50 per hour with working hours from 08:00 to 18:00 on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, and 07:00 to 17:00 on Saturday, with possible Sunday overtime.
Key responsibilities include operating the loading shovel and mobile plant equipment, performing daily checks and basic maintenance, and adhering to health and safety procedures.
Candidates must hold a valid loading shovel ticket and demonstrate reliability and the ability to work in all weather conditions.

Shovel Driver

Taskmaster Recruitment are looking for a Shovel Driver to work for our client based in Northampton (NN4). This is working in the waste industry.

Pay rate: £13.50 per hour

Working hours:

08:00 to 18:00 Mondy, Tuesday Thursday and Friday

07:00 to 17:00 Saturday

Possible Sunday Overtime

Duties:

Operating the loading shovel and mobile plant equipment.

Carry out daily checks and basic maintenance on all mobile plant as required, reporting any defects accurately and in a timely manner.

Carrying out daily housekeeping duties as required.

Following site health and safety procedures.

Skills and experience:

You will need to hold a valid loading shovel ticket.

Be able to work in all weathers and be reliable.
