Are you a seasoned tax professional ready to make a real impact in a fast-paced, forward-thinking business? This is an exciting opportunity for a Tax Manager to take on a pivotal role within a UK and Ireland operation, influencing strategic decisions and driving tax efficiency across the board.

Working closely with the Head of Tax, you'll be a key business partner-balancing compliance responsibilities with forward-looking advisory work. From leading tax filings to improving processes and supporting international tax matters, this is a varied and influential role where no two days are the same.

What you'll be doing:

  • Providing expert guidance on UK and Irish corporation tax matters

  • Leading compliance activities with support from external advisors, ensuring all returns are accurate and optimised

  • Collaborating on VAT and indirect tax filings alongside the Tax Accountant

  • Managing income and deferred tax accounting, with regular reporting to a US-based parent group

  • Advising internal stakeholders (finance, legal, business units) on tax implications of key decisions

  • Supporting tax audits, international structuring, and transfer pricing compliance

  • Championing tax technology and automation to boost efficiency

What we're looking for:

  • CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent qualification with at least 4 years of relevant tax experience

  • A proactive, solutions-driven mindset with strong attention to detail

  • Confident in interpreting complex tax legislation and applying it in a commercial setting

  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise across multiple workstreams

  • Background in either practice or in-house tax roles, ideally within a multinational context
