Day to day responsibilities of the HR Manager:
- Create and apply HR policies and industry best practices.
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and team expansion efforts.
- Drive performance evaluations, appraisals, and career development planning.
- Assess training needs and organise learning and development programs.
- Manage employee relations, resolve conflicts, and oversee disciplinary actions.
- Foster a positive workplace culture and support wellbeing initiatives.
- Gather monthly payroll information and coordinate with the external payroll provider.
- Ensure compliance with employment laws, contracts, GDPR, and other regulations.
- Keep personnel records updated and manage HR systems.
Preferred experience of the next HR Manager:
- CIPD Level 5 qualification required: Level 7 preferred or currently studying.
- Minimum of 3 years’ HR experience within a small to mid-sized company.
- Solid understanding of UK employment law and HR best practices.
- Proven ability to identify training needs and manage L&D initiatives.
- Highly proactive, solutions-driven, and exceptionally organised.
- Skilled in managing payroll, contracts, and regulatory compliance.
- Background working in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment.
