About the Role
As our HR Administrator, you'll play a vital part in ensuring our HR operations run like clockwork. You'll be the go-to person for managing our shared HR inbox, tracking absences, maintaining accurate employee records, and supporting everything from right-to-work checks to interview scheduling. Your work will help keep the team organised, compliant, and able to deliver excellent service to our employees.
Key Responsibilities
- Shared HR Inbox Management - Respond promptly to employee queries, escalating where needed.
- Absence Tracking - Keep precise records, manage return-to-work processes, and produce absence reports.
- HR Administration - Prepare contracts, update employee files, coordinate meetings, and process resignations.
- Right to Work Compliance - Conduct and maintain accurate checks for all staff.
- HRIS & Data Management - Maintain employee data with complete accuracy and confidentiality.
- Employee Relations Support - Assist with low-complexity meetings such as absence investigations and wellbeing discussions.
- General Support - Handle scanning, document filing, KPI reporting, and other ad hoc duties as needed.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years' experience in a HR-related role.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes, payroll/benefits, and relevant legislation.
- Experience managing HR systems and working in a fast-paced team.
- High attention to detail, resilience, and the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Ideally, experience in food manufacturing or a similar environment.
