Network Engineer

Network Engineer – 3 Month Contract – Hybrid – Northampton

VIQU have partnered with a customer based in Northampton who are seeking a Network Engineer who specialises in Check Point Firewalls.

The role:

The successful Network Engineer will own BAU and Projects request, reviewing, expanding and creating Firewall rules within Check Point to allow access to relevant systems.

The ideal candidate will have SME knowledge of CheckPoint and be comfortable engaging with Stakeholders to understand their requirements and translate them into to compliant Firewall rules.

Experience within a complex hybrid (Cloud and OnPrem) environment is essential.

Network Engineer key skills and experience:

• Strong Experience in Check Point
• Previous experience as a Network Engineer
• Experience within a wider CISCO environment

• Job role: Network Engineer
• Job type: Contract
• Duration: 3-month contract
• IR35 status: Inside IR35  
• Rate: £450- £550
• Location: Hybrid – Northampton – 2 days per week onsite.
