Impact are recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join our client as a Quality & Compliance Manager, working for a growing business. Our client has seen year on year growth, with strong clients across the UK, and due to this are recruiting for a manager to take responsibility of all quality and ensuring the business remains compliant to regulations. As a Quality Manager you will support the transition from ISO 9001 compliance to achieving a broader set of strategic accreditations.

This is a pivotal role within the business, you will require a proactive attitude and be systems-focused with a strong understanding of quality management, risk mitigation, and regulatory compliance.

Location: Northampton | On-site
Hours: Monday-Friday 9am-5pm Full-time

Pay: £45,000 - £50,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of management systems.
  • All systems will be aligned to ISO 27001, ISO 14001 and AS9100.
  • Take responsibility for conducting internal audits.
  • Complete gap analyses, and compliance reviews against relevant standards.
  • Manage all existing quality assurance processes under ISO 9001.
  • Prepare and oversee certification audits, documentation, and improvement plans.
  • Collaborate with various teams within the business to ensure the integration of quality.
  • Support staff training particularly around information security.
  • Act as a liaison with external auditors, certification bodies, and clients.
  • Develop and maintain risk registers, incident logs, and corrective & preventive action plans.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a quality or compliance leadership role.
  • Strong working knowledge of at least one or more of the following standards: AS9100, ISO 27001, ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.
  • Experience with planning and leading accreditation projects.
  • Exceptional organisational and project management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage multiple workstreams.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience with getting ready for audits.
  • Must have an ability to influence at all levels.
  • Relevant qualifications in Quality Management, Compliance, Risk, or Security, with a preference in the following: CQI, Lead Auditor, NEBOSH and CISMP.
  • Preferably have experience within aerospace, defence, manufacturing, or highly regulated sectors.
