Service Care Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Contracts Lawyer to join a busy local authority legal team in Northamptonshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to lead on high-value commercial projects while making a tangible difference to the community.Role: Senior Contracts LawyerLocation: Northamptonshire – hybrid working with office attendance once per weekUmbrella Rate: £55 - £60phPAYE Inc.   • Lead and manage a small project team, ensuring quality outcomes and timely delivery.
  • Work closely with Procurement colleagues to shape, advise on, and deliver major projects.
  • Draft and negotiate high-value, multi-lot and supplier framework agreements.
About You:
  • Qualified Solicitor, Barrister, or Legal Executive with substantial public sector contracts 3+ years of PQE.
  • Proven track record in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience guiding teams on high-stakes projects.
