PM Transport Supervisor – Responsibilities
- Daily satisfaction of all customer transport requirements.
- Serving as a key management liaison for customer interactions.
- Optimising the coordination of internal fleet and sub-contractors for maximum cost-effectiveness.
- Leading day-to-day driver management, focusing on team development, training, and operational efficiency.
- Strategic management of suppliers (sub-contractors, agencies, maintenance) to control operational spend.
- Ensuring peak reliability and presentation through regular driver, vehicle, and trailer checks.
- Guaranteeing full adherence to all company internal processes, procedures, and O-License legislative demands.
- Compiling and presenting weekly management information reports.
PM Transport Supervisor - Requirements
- Previous experience supervising in transport operations.
- Strong organisational and planning capabilities.
- A track record of responsible, ethical, and honest conduct.
- A solid understanding of current UK transport operations and legislation.
- Management CPC or a clear commitment to obtaining this qualification (Highly desirable)
- Ideally, practical experience with O-Licence compliance. (Highly Desirable)
- Strong IT proficiency, including familiarity with fleet and transport management software.
- A true team player who can inspire and foster a strong team culture.
- The essential flexibility to adapt quickly and effectively to unexpected challenges
