Role: Maintenance Engineer

Location: Northampton

Shifts: Monday to Friday Days Only (40 hour week)

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 (DOE)

With some grand projects under way looking at automating more of their processes this is a great time to join the business as you will be key in helping facilitate the growth of the business and get a chance to work with some brand new state of the art machinery!

The Role:

The Role of Maintenance Engineer will include:

Reactive and Planned Maintenance on all of the automated production machinery Including Robotics, Conveyors, Injector Machines, Hydraulic and Pneumatic machinery
Fault Finding Electrically working in Panels, using a Multimeter and reading diagrams. Swapping out Contactors, Relays, Sensors, Invertors, Three Phase Motors,
Mechanically working with: Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems, Bearings, Rollers, Belts, Chains, Pulleys, Gearboxes
Working within a team of Engineers, helping support team members with areas of maintenance they aren’t well versed in.
Coming up with process improvement ideas to reduce waste, improve efficiency.

The Candidate:

The right candidate for the role of Maintenance Engineer will be/have the following:

A recognised Engineering Qualification
Experience Fault Finding Electrically on Three Phase systems in a factory setting and able to confidently work in a panel
Be able to Fault Find and swap out mechanical components like Bearings, Belts, Rollers, Gearboxes, Pneumatic and Hydraulic systems
Have an eye for Continuous improvement
Have an interest in Automation
Be able to work well within a team and be happy to share knowledge with colleagues
