Job Role: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Salary: £40,000-£43,000 DOE
Hours: Monday – Friday, 07:30 – 17:30 + Overtime @ 1.5x
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
The Package:
- Base salary between £40,000-£43,000, dependent on experience
- Onsite parking
- Commitment to ongoing training and development
- Pension scheme (3% employer, 5% employee)
- 24 days annual leave + bank holidays

Responsibilities:
- Electrical and mechanical fault finding and rectification on production machinery
- Conducting planned and preventative maintenance
- Adhering to health and safety policies and procedures
- Collaborating with the engineering manager to ensure smooth plant production
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a maintenance engineer in a food manufacturing, cold storage, or manufacturing environment
- Relevant certifications (NVQ/City & Guilds)
- Multiskilled engineer with either a mechanical or electrical bias
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
