We are working with a well-established and expanding FMCG manufacturer seeking skilled Maintenance Engineers to support a modern, high-volume production site in Northampton. Working within a fast-paced FMCG environment, you’ll be responsible for a balanced mix of Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Reactive Maintenance, ensuring machinery and production lines operate safely, efficiently, and with minimal downtime.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on automated manufacturing and packaging equipment

• Fault-finding and effective breakdown response in a time-critical production environment

• Supporting continuous improvement, reliability, and engineering-led initiatives

• Working closely with production teams to maintain output, safety, and quality standards

This role operates on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, rotating days and nights, offering a structured rota and excellent work–life balance.

• Experienced Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical, Electrical or Multi-Skilled)

• Background in FMCG, manufacturing, or automated production environments

• Strong fault-finding skills with a proactive maintenance approach

• Reliable, flexible, and motivated to progress within a growing organisation

• £44,000 – £48,000 salary (dependent on experience)
