Engineering Manager (Northamptonshire)

Are you an experienced engineering leader with a strong electrical bias, ready to take ownership of a busy, high-volume manufacturing site? This is a fantastic opportunity to lead and develop an experienced engineering team, drive continuous improvement, and shape the future of the site.

What you'll be doing:

* Leading a skilled team of engineers to ensure the site runs at its best, with equipment and processes operating at peak efficiency.
* Driving improvements to the planned maintenance programme to reduce downtime and improve performance.
* Managing resources to ensure maintenance activities are delivered on time and within budget.
* Overseeing breakdown response to minimise disruption to production.
* Working closely with suppliers to ensure critical spares are available when needed and maintenance costs are controlled.

What we're looking for:

* Proven engineering leadership with a track record of delivering operational excellence.
* Strong electrical engineering expertise, backed by solid mechanical knowledge.
* Experience in high-volume manufacturing environments, ideally within food production.
* A proactive problem solver with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex faults quickly.
* Experience driving maintenance improvements that deliver measurable performance gains.
* Knowledge of DSEAR and ATEX regulations and a commitment to safe, compliant operations.
