Technical Manager (Residential) - Northampton - 6 month contract
We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Manager to join a niche, privately owned housing developer in Northampton on a 6 month contract.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is already an established Technical Manager or an experienced Senior Technical Coordinator who is ready to take the next step in their career.
Reporting to the Director; the successful candidate will be accountable for coordinating all design and utility information between external and internal stakeholders, ensuring that all approvals and utility quotes are obtained in a timely manner and that high quality and correct information is issued to other departments.
The postholder will also be responsible for the setting, monitoring and delivery of targets, production of accurate and timely reports for the business and developing a high performing team. They will challenge others to drive performance improvement without damaging confidence levels or performance output.
Skills, knowledge & experience
We are looking for an established Technical Manager who isa skilled communicator, who iscreativeand experienced with generating new ideas within architectural and engineering functions. They will bepassionateabout the construction/development industry with strong experience within it. The postholder will be an establishedcollaborativeleader with the ability to build strong relationships through ability to work cross functionally to achieve successful outcomes and inspire, motivate, and develop team members.
Education & qualifications
- The successful candidate will have a minimum of 5 years knowledge of the construction/development industry.
- They will have up to date knowledge of building legislation, experience of partnership agreements, along with understanding and working knowledge of planning issues and processes relevant to the role.
