Company:A leading packaging manufacturer.
Role:Working in a factory environment, we are seeking a skilled Blown Film Extrusion Operator to join our client.In this role, you will operate state-of-the-art machineryto produce a range of high-quality films.
- Operate blown film extrusion lines to produce a wide range of flexible films, following all quality control procedures and company documentation (including safety protocols and operational guidelines)
- Produce films by setting up and adjusting machinery as per production requirements
- Utilise touch screen controls to monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments during operation
- Handle materials efficiently and ensure proper storage and organisation within the warehouse (following company policies and procedures)
- Communicate clearly and consistently with team members and managers to support and optimise production process and workplace efficiency
- Maintain accurate records of production output, machine settings and any issues encountered during operations
- Keen eye for detail and continuous product quality control
Requirements:
- Proven experience operating blown film extrusion machinery is essential
- Experience working within a packaging manufacturer
- Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues in the production process
- Happy to work shifts
