Senior Payroll Administrator

Join our dynamic Temp Payroll team as a Temp Production Administrator, where you will be instrumental in processing payments for temporary employees. This role is crucial for ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of weekly payroll services, collaborating closely with the Finance and IT teams.

Day-to-day of the role:
  • Run all weekly payrolls in a structured and organised manner.
  • Check and reconcile daily payroll runs and produce associated spreadsheets.
  • Update and maintain Payroll Schedules and Payroll Procedures Manual.
  • Handle queries and escalations from both within and outside the company, ensuring responses are timely and within SLA agreements.
  • Produce ad-hoc reports as required.
  • Maintain the highest level of payroll security and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders in Finance, HR, IT, and Operations.
  • Complete additional tasks and responsibilities as needed within the scope of your role.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • GCSE Maths and English qualifications (or equivalent) at grade C or above.
  • Experience ina Payroll position.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Word, Excel, and databases.
  • Experience in administration within a process-driven environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and numeracy skills, with a focus on detail.
  • Ability to plan, organise, and prioritise effectively.
  • Problem-solving skills, with the ability to generate multiple solutions to issues.
  • Resilience in handling difficult queries and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • A continuous learner, open to new approaches and seeking opportunities for personal development.
