This is a high-profile, broad-based leadership role, combining day-to-day operational oversight with long-term strategic planning. You'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of our multi-site logistics operations, while also identifying and driving improvements that deliver real business value.

Working closely with the wider business, you'll influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels to ensure logistics supports our growth plans, meets compliance standards, and continues to exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all logistics operations across multiple UK sites, including warehouses and in-house fleet.
  • Develop and deliver the logistics strategy, aligning it with wider business objectives.
  • Oversee transport, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement in efficiency, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Build strong relationships across operations, sales, procurement, and senior leadership teams.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and industry standards.
  • Lead, develop, and inspire high-performing teams.

Experience

  • Proven senior-level experience in logistics, ideally within a wholesale, distribution, or multi-site environment.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, fleet management, and supply chain principles.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • Strategic thinker with hands-on operational leadership ability.
  • Highly organised, commercially astute, and results-driven.
  • Good standard of education, ideally degree-level or equivalent.
  • Willingness to travel to sites across the UK as needed.
