A leading manufacturing business in Northampton is seeking an experienced QSHE Specialist to join their team on a six-month fixed-term contract. This is a fully site-based role, so applicants must live within a commutable distance. There is no remote working option. The contract may be extended or could develop into a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support production quality systems, with a focus on ISO 9001 compliance

  • Plan, conduct, and report on internal and external audits to maintain and improve quality standards

  • Monitor health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance across the site

  • Assist with incident investigations and implement corrective actions

  • Provide guidance and support to teams on QSHE and quality matters

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across manufacturing processes

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a QSHE Specialist, HSEQ Advisor, or similar role within a manufacturing environment

  • Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems and audit processes

  • Solid understanding of health, safety, and environmental standards

  • Ability to work independently and make an immediate impact

  • Excellent communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills
