Assistant Project Manager,  Fit-Out Construction, Northampton, East Midlands

Working with a specialist fast-track fit-out contractor in Northampton, to appoint an Assistant Project Manager

Our client focus is refurbishment and fast-track fit-out projects, for a number of key clients on a repeat business basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with overseeing and managing all aspects of fit-out construction projects from inception to completion. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented professional.  You will be primarily hybrid working.  With a combination of site visits, teams meeting remotely and office working

Applicants experience could be either from Assistant Project Manager or Site Manager roles

Key Responsibilities:

Assisting with:

  • Manage all elements of fast-track fit-out projects.
  • Collaborate with clients, designers, and subcontractors to understand project requirements and expectations.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including schedules and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate and lead project meetings, ensuring effective communication among all stakeholders.
  • Monitor and enforce compliance with safety regulations and quality standards on-site.
  • Provide regular project updates to clients, addressing any concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Ensure timely completion of project milestones and final delivery.

Qualifications:

  • HND or Degree in relevant construction field preferred
  • Knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
