Assistant Project Manager - Northamptonshire
Location: Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire
Salary: 拢55,000+ 7k Car Allowance

We are looking for an assistant Project Manager to oversee multiple construction sites across Northamptonshire and Leicestershire . This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of high-profile projects, ensuring they are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
路Take full responsibility for the success, safety, quality, environmental compliance, and commercial performance of all contracts under your control.
路Ensure all operations adhere to current Health, Safety, and Environmental legislation.
路Manage all site-based personnel, including direct staff and subcontractors.
路Oversee client relationships and ensure effective communication with project teams.
路Apply knowledge of CDM regulations, NEC 3, and JCT Conditions of Contract.
路Implement effective construction methods and techniques.
路Manage labour, subcontractors, plant hire, and material procurement efficiently.
路Provide accurate reporting to the Contracts Manager, Quantity Surveyor, and Commercial Manager.
路Ensure all contracts are managed to maximise margins and control costs.
路Utilise programming software to monitor project progress.
路Prepare essential safety documentation, including CPPs, RAMS, Risk Assessments, and COSHH Assessments.
路Work effectively under pressure and within tight deadlines.
路Demonstrate excellent communication and organisational skills.
What You'll Need:
路Minimum 4 years' experience in construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
路Degree/HNC in Civil Engineering or Construction.
路SMSTS qualification and CSCS Managers Card.
路Experience working with a Tier 2 Contractor.
