We are supporting a busy, diverse special educational needs school located in central Northampton who are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Child Practitioner to join their supportive and nurturing school. The school specialises in working with children who have highly complex additional needs, including ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
As a SEN Child Practitioner, you will:
- Support children on a 1:1 and small-group basis, tailoring support to individual needs
- Assist pupils with emotional regulation, communication, learning and daily routines
- Work closely with teachers, therapists and other professionals to deliver personalised support plans
- Help create a safe, structured and positive learning environment
- Support children with behaviour management strategies using a calm and empathetic approach
- Promote independence, confidence and well-being in every child
Are you committed, reliable and dedicated to working with children with SEN? Do you have a strong understanding of ADHD, ASD and complex additional needs? Do you believe you are empathetic, patient and nurturing? The school are looking for all of these qualities as well as being flexible and adaptable understanding that no two days are the same.
The school are looking for a full-time member of staff to support them full time and ready to start as soon as possible or at a given date depending on the correct candidate.
