A well-established and respected main contractor is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Northamptonshire. This is an exciting opportunity to manage a £15m hotel refurbishment project, ensuring its successful delivery with a focus on quality, cost, and timely completion.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee all commercial and cost aspects of the £15m hotel refurbishment project, ensuring it is delivered on time and within budget.
Manage project budgets, contracts, cost variations, and ensure financial targets are met.
Work closely with the project team and senior management, providing regular updates on project costs.
Provide expert cost advice and resolve any commercial issues to prevent delays or additional costs.
Mentor and support junior staff, while maintaining strong relationships with clients and subcontractors.

Ideal Candidate:

Holds a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within the hotel refurbishment or construction industry.
Strong commercial awareness with the ability to manage complex projects effectively.
Excellent problem-solving, negotiation, and communication skills.
Proven experience managing costs and delivering projects on time and within budget.
