Our client, operating within the highways sector, is currently seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to join the team on a 6 month contract (Inside IR35) - potential extension/chance of permanenet employment in the near future.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing sub-contracts and overseeing change management processes
  • Working with NEC3 Option A and Option B contracts, including closing out accounts
  • Collaborating with the Commercial Manager and other team members to ensure project objectives are met
  • Conducting cost analysis, forecasting, and budgeting for the project
  • Ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions
  • Maintaining accurate records and preparing detailed reports
  • Providing support and advice on commercial matters


Job Requirements:

  • Experience in quantity surveying, preferably at a senior level
  • Strong knowledge of highways, bridges, and local road bridge projects
  • Proficiency in sub-contract management and change management
  • Familiarity with NEC3 contracts, particularly Option A and Option B
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work both on-site (4 days) and from home (1 day)
  • Relevant qualifications in quantity surveying or a related field
