Your new company

Hays Business Support are seeking an experienced Recruitment Administrator to work for a public sector organisation based in Northampton on a full time basis. This role is a temporary position for 12 weeks with the opportunity to go permanent for the right candidate.

Your new role

Our client is currently recruiting for a highly skilled and proactive Temporary Administrator to support their recruitment processes. This is a full time role- 37 hours per week with the opportunity to work 2 days from home.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage all administrative tasks relating to recruitment, onboarding and exits
  • Run the recruitment process including drafting offer/rejection letters, contracts of employment, liaising with candidates and recruiting managers, ensure all systemactions have been completed and that the successful candidate has a smooth transition into the organisation.
  • Manage new starter checklists including ensuring proof that new starters have the right to work in the UK in line with the Home Office Regulations and collate necessary information for payroll registration (P45/HMRC Starter Checklist, NI number, bank account details)
  • Prepare welcome packs and induction for each new starter
  • Liaise with HR Advisor to ensure all staff are correctly added to iTrent system
  • Independently manage the Exit process, arrange exit questionnaires; ensure leaver checklists are completed and returned, along with individuals' building passes and any equipment and clothing (e.g. laptops, mobiles, coat)
  • Any other duties of a similar nature related to this post that may be required from time to time
