The staff at the school are dedicated to delivering a personalised, nurturing, and inclusive educational experience where every student can achieve their full potential.The Role:As an English Teacher, you will deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated English lessons across KS3 and KS4 (and occasionally KS2), tailored to meet the varied learning styles and needs of our pupils. You'll work as part of a skilled multi-disciplinary team, helping to raise attainment and foster a lifelong love of learning. Key Responsibilities:- Plan and deliver high-quality English lessons aligned to national curriculum and individual EHCPs- Adapt resources and teaching approaches for learners with additional needs- Support students with literacy, communication, and emotional regulation- Monitor progress, set individual targets, and maintain accurate records- Work closely with support staff, therapists, and parents/carers to create holistic learning plans- Contribute to the wider school community, including pastoral care and enrichment activitiesAbout You- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent is beneficial but not essential - Experience teaching English at secondary level (KS3 and KS4)- An understanding of SEMH, ASC, and inclusive teaching practices- Strong classroom management and behaviour support skills- Creativity, empathy, and the ability to inspire reluctant learners- A commitment to safeguarding and a nurturing approach to educationWho are Aspire People?
