We have a number of fantastic opportunities to teach motivated post-16 learners - from GCSE resits to A-Level English - in a setting that values real-world learning and student growth beyond the exam.
Whether you're an experienced FE practitioner or a secondary English teacher ready for something new, if you love your subject and know how to bring it to life, we want to hear from you.
What you'll be doing:
- Delivering engaging English lessons to 16-19-year-olds - including GCSE English Language and/or A-Level Literature
- Supporting students to develop confidence in reading, writing, and critical thinking
- Building strong, respectful relationships with learners from diverse backgrounds
- Playing a key role in helping students achieve their next steps - whether that's university, apprenticeships, or employment
This role could be ideal if you:
- Hold QTS, QTLS, or equivalent and have experience teaching English (GCSE and/or A-Level)
- Understand the challenges and rewards of post-16 education
- Believe in second chances and know how to support students who may not have thrived in school
- Bring creativity, structure, and a genuine love of language to your teaching
