The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4.You will inspire students to achieve their full potential and foster a love of mathematics through innovative and engaging lessons.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging, differentiated maths lessons that cater to the needs of all students

  • Plan schemes of work in line with national curriculum and exam board requirements

  • Assess and track student progress, providing timely feedback

  • Manage classroom behaviour effectively and maintain a focused learning environment

  • Contribute to the development of the maths department

  • Participate in staff meetings, training, and extracurricular activities

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK

  • A degree in Mathematics or a related subject

  • Experience teaching Maths in a secondary school setting

  • Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with GCSE (and A-Level, if applicable) curriculum

  • Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills

  • A commitment to safeguarding and the welfare of students
