HGV Workshop Manager needed

£45,000 - £50,000 per annum

Northampton

Our client, a privately owned garage specialising in the servicing and repair of Commercial Vehicles, is seeking for a HGV Workshop Manager to join their team.

The ideal candidates will be supervising team members to ensure that their designated duties are performed correctly and in a timely fashion. Managing regular and well-established clientele. Workshop Controllers and Fleet Engineers who would like to step up are welcome to apply.

Role: HGV Workshop Manager

Salary:£45,000 - £50,000 per annum

Hours: Mon to Fri 8:30 am to 5pm (30 mins lunch)

Location: Northampton

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing and implementing standards and procedures for workshop
  • Setting and maintaining service levels
  • Maintaining customer relationships and improving response and delivery times
  • Updating service methods to improve overall efficiency
  • Resolving any service problems and customer complaints
  • Collaborate with the team to meet deadlines and provide outstanding customer service.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in a workshop environment
  • Be flexible and have the ability to work unsupervised with a high level of self-motivation.
  • NVQ Level 3 or IRTE qualified Commercial Vehicle Technician, but equivalent qualifications considered.
