Job Description: Assistant Care Manager
Salary: Up to £35,000
Location: Northampton
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Care Manager to join our team in a residential home setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in deputy management and be passionate about providing high-quality care for the elderly, including those with dementia.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Care Manager in the overall management of the residential home.
- Provide leadership and support to care staff, ensuring high standards of care.
- Oversee the development and implementation of care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations and care standards.
- Participate in staff training and development.
- Foster a positive and inclusive environment for residents and staff.
Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- Proven experience in a residential home setting.
- Strong leadership and deputy management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to elderly and dementia care.
