Job Title: Learning Support Assistant
Position: Part-Time/Full-Time
Role type: Temporary
Location: Northampton
Rate: £13-£15 per hour
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:- Provide tailored support to students with additional learning needs, both in classroom settings and through one-on-one sessions.
- Assist with the development and implementation of EHCP's in collaboration with teachers and other educational professionals.
- Facilitate access to learning resources and adapt materials to meet the specific needs of students.
- Monitor and report on the progress of students, providing feedback to teachers and parents as required.
- Support students with organizational and study skills, and encourage their independence and self-confidence.
- Assist in maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Participate in training and development sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in learning support.
- Experience in a learning support role within an educational setting, preferably in a college environment.
- A qualification in education, special needs education, or a related field is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, staff, and parents.
- A compassionate and patient approach, with a commitment to enhancing student learning experiences and outcomes.
- Ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a fast-paced educational environment.
- Enhanced DBS check or willingness to undergo this procedure.
