We are currently working with inclusive and forward-thinking schools in Northampton seeking dedicated Special Needs Teachers to join their teams from September 2025. Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver personalised learning programmes for students with a range of special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)

  • Support pupils' academic, social, and emotional development in line with their individual Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs)

  • Collaborate closely with teaching assistants, therapists, and families to provide holistic support

  • Monitor and assess pupil progress, adapting teaching approaches to meet changing needs

  • Promote independence, inclusion, and positive behaviour strategies within the classroom

  • Contribute to whole-school SEND policies and attend relevant training and meetings

Who We're Looking For:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with experience in SEND education

  • A strong understanding of different SEND needs including autism, ADHD, communication difficulties, and learning disabilities

  • Skilled in differentiated teaching and behaviour management

  • Empathetic, patient, and committed to the well-being and progress of every child

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Willingness to engage in ongoing professional development
