Supply Chain CoordinatorLocation: Northamptonshire (Office-based)Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PMSalary: Up to £32,000 base, plus performance-related bonusOverview:A growing and dynamic UK-based distributor seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Supply Chain Coordinator to support its expanding operations. The role offers the opportunity to work closely with global suppliers and customers, helping deliver complex and varied projects across the UK market.The Role:Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, the Supply Chain Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring the seamless execution of customer projects from initiation through to delivery. The role includes procurement, logistics coordination, after-sales support, and financial reporting, while working collaboratively across multiple departments and with external partners.Key Responsibilities:
  • Raise and manage purchase orders
  • Prepare and issue quotations for spare parts
  • Liaise with suppliers for technical documentation (e.g. BoMs, specifications, drawings)
  • Follow up on quotations and maintain strong customer communication
  • Support and develop customer relationships to drive sales
  • Monitor and manage stock levels
  • Conduct monthly stock and financial reporting
  • Process supplier invoices
  • Provide weekly and ad-hoc reporting as required
  • Assist the Supply Chain Manager across procurement, logistics, and service areas
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Proficiency in IT systems, including stock management and MS Office
  • Previous experience in manufacturing or engineering environments (preferred)
  • A proactive and professional attitude, representing the company at all levels
