Fabricate, weld and assemble steel/aluminium/peripheral parts for commercial vehicles (new builds, bespoke bodywork, crash repair)

Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to produce accurate components and assemblies

Operate welding equipment (MIG/TIG/Arc as relevant) safely and with high quality finish

Fit fabricated components onto vehicle chassis or body-build structures, ensuring correct alignment and function

Manage finishing processes: grinding, de-burring, priming, ensuring defect-free surfaces for paint/graphics teams

Work with the rest of the build team (bodybuilders, electricians, paint sprayers, graphics) to ensure on-time delivery

Maintain health, safety and quality standards at all times in a busy workshop environment

Assist with repair work and refurbishment of commercial vehicles when required (crash repair, modifications)
