About the Role

Are you passionate about making a real difference in your community? We're looking for a dedicated Neighbourhood Housing Officer to join our Resident Services team within the Housing & Environment Directorate. This is your opportunity to help shape vibrant, safe, and inclusive neighbourhoods across Ealing.

You'll be at the heart of our housing service-supporting residents across a range of tenures, managing tenancies, resolving issues, and ensuring our neighbourhoods are places people are proud to call home.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Full Tenancy Management responsibility of a housing patch of aprox. 500 properties.
  • Delivering high-quality, customer-focused housing services.
  • Proactively managing rent arrears and supporting income recovery.
  • Conducting estate inspections, home visits, and resident engagement activities.
  • Supporting vulnerable residents and safeguarding where necessary.
  • Collaborating with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues and improve outcomes.
  • Leading projects and mentoring colleagues.

What We're Looking For

  • A strong background in housing management and customer service.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Confidence in working independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion.
  • GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths.
  • IT proficiency (Microsoft Office).
  • Experience working with diverse communities.
  • Knowledge of Housing Law (Essentials).
  • Knowledge of housing legislation and tenancy management.
  • Ability to lead resident engagement and partnership initiatives
