Salary: 33-42,000

A forward-thinking Architect is sought to join a Cheshire-based studio recognised for its expertise across a wide range of sectors. The practice has developed a strong reputation in cinema and holiday resort design while also delivering projects in leisure, retail, commercial, industrial, office, and residential markets. With a varied portfolio that spans boutique cinemas, large-scale mixed-use schemes, resorts and spas, and bespoke retail environments, this role offers the chance to contribute to impactful projects from concept to completion.

Applicants must already be eligible to work in the UK, as sponsorship is not provided, and should be based locally to Cheshire or within commuting distance.

Daily duties encompass:

  • Leading design work and producing high-quality drawings, models, and presentations
  • Driving projects at all stages, from feasibility and concept design through to technical delivery and construction
  • Preparing and coordinating planning and building regulation applications
  • Managing and developing project information using Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM processes
  • Liaising with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Undertaking site visits and inspections to oversee construction progress
  • Supporting and mentoring junior team members while contributing to design reviews

Ideal candidate will demonstrate:

  • ARB registration with proven post-qualification experience
  • Strong design flair supported by technical accuracy and delivery capability
  • Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and presentation tools such as SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite
  • Good working knowledge of UK building regulations and planning procedures
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and work to deadlines
  • A collaborative, proactive attitude, and enthusiasm for working across diverse sectors including cinema, retail, leisure, commercial, and residential projects
