Purchase Ledger Clerk - Temp to Perm

Location: Birchwood (with option to work from home 1 day per week)Hours: Part-time or Full-time (20-37.5 hours per week)Contract: Temp to Perm (12-week temp period with view to go permanent based on performance)

About the Role:We're looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Purchase Ledger Clerk to join our small, friendly finance team of three. This is a great opportunity to become a key part of a supportive working environment with flexibility on hours and hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Processing purchase invoices accurately and efficiently

  • Matching, batching, and coding invoices

  • Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies

  • Preparing payment runs

  • Dealing with supplier queries in a timely and professional manner

  • Supporting month-end processes as required

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a similar purchase ledger/accounts payable role

  • Good attention to detail and strong organisational skills

  • Comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team

  • Confident using accounting software and Excel

  • Strong communication skills
