Sector: M&E Packages across large scale Industrial projects.
My client is a nationwide group of companies who all focus on different sectors across the industry, I’ m currently working with the M&E side to help them bring in a Site-Based H&S advisor. Due to the complexity of some projects, they require someone on site to allow the management team quick access to H&S on a rapidly changing site to enable it to run smoothly throughout.
You will be based on a newbuild Industrial project overseeing the H&S for my client who will be delivering the M&E Package.
Must Have:
TechIOSH or higher
NEBOSH in General Health & Safety
3+ Years in a Health & Safety role
Ability to reach the Warrington Office and work on sites across the Northwest
Mechanical & Electrical knowledge is desirable
Job Description
To provide strategic and operational advice supporting the project delivery team.
To support the project management delivery in the development of the HSE strategy for the company in line with the overall HSE objectives and targets set by the Senior H&S Team.
Working on one site from inception through to completion to provide support and give professional HSE advice to the Management Team including Clients and Contractors in respect to the Contractual objectives and set targets for compliance.
Agree with the Management Teams how to achieve all the contractual standards required for the main deliverables across the project and provide support in order to achieve the contractual objectives & targets.
Duties:
Undertake periodic audits and inspections to ensure H&S compliance.
Maintain a proactive working relationship with all employees, moreover the clients and all appointed contractors throughout the project.
Provide professional support and clinical advice to the management teams which you’ll are assigned to support on HSE matters.
Work with the existing support teams in ensuring all deliverables are in accordance with the H&S Regulations & Procedures.
Maintain a proactive risk-based approach to HSE across the site.
