The Commercial Administrator will support the internal finance and service teams in managing and progressing the Work in Progress Reports. This role will be a key position in ensuring cash flow through the business, by managing and ensuring accurate tracking and timely reports and invoicing of jobs

Description

o To monitor, manage and control the WIP through different streams; Chargeable, Service, Warranty & Internal.

o Liaise closely with Field Support Managers, Operations, Parts teams and engineers to update job status.

o Verification of parts and engineers labour times booked to jobs.

o Collaborate with Field Support Managers to ensure timely job management.

o Collaborate with Finance Team to ensure high-level accuracy for timely invoicing.

o Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies.

o Chasing 3rd party suppliers for documentation, i.e. AP Invoicing, Purchase Orders, etc.

Profile

A successful WIP Controller should have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft packages
  • A keen eye for detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across various departments.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • An analytical mindset to evaluate and improve processes
