We have an excellentopportunity for NDT VALIDATION CONSULTANTS to work on an ad-hoc basis supporting projects for our end client both in the UK and abroad.
About the Projects:
Ad-hoc NDT support within the Inspection Validation Centre (IVC) in Birchwood, Warrington. Supporting the IVCs Inspection Qualification projects for the end client, both in the UK and abroad (France, Spain & Germany).
This work will bc across a 2 year period, but not full-time. Work will be booked with suitable notice in week blocks.
Specific Tasks:
Invigilation of Procedure Trials - Witnessing inspection vendors during the practical demonstration of the NDT equipment and procedures, using representative test pieces.
Invigilation of Personnel Trials - Invigilation and marking of written examinations, Invigilation and marking of Ultrasonic data analysis exams using blind automated data.
Fingerprinting IVC Test Pieces - Using advanced Ultrasonic techniques (PA / FMC) to create a digital fingerprint of a representative test piece. Production of procedures and reports.
Candidate Requirements:
Experienced in automated Ultrasonic Inspections.
PCN Level 3 in UT, Level 2 will be considered.
Knowledge of advanced UT techniques.
Available to work in Warrington with travel to client sites in France, Spain and Germany.
Security Cleared to BPSS as a minimum.
Outside of IR35 and can be worked on a Limited Company basis
