Demand Planner / Supply Chain Analyst (Forecasting & S&OP)

We are seeking a highly analytical Demand Planner / Supply Chain Analyst to join a Global manufacturing business. This role is central to driving accurate forecasting, supply chain efficiency, and ensuring strong collaboration across commercial, operations, and supply functions. We are looking for a strong Demand Planner with excellent analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts across multiple product categories.
- Support the monthly S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) process, providing insights and recommendations.
- Analyse historical data, market trends, and customer insights to improve forecast accuracy.
- Work closely with commercial, operations, and supply chain teams to align on demand requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and highlight risks to supply or excess stock.
- Prepare and present regular reports and analysis to senior stakeholders.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects within planning and forecasting.
About You
- Experience in demand planning, forecasting, or supply chain planning within manufacturing.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Proficient with Excel (pivot tables, lookups, reporting tools); experience with ERP / SAP IBP or similar tools is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with stakeholders across different business functions.
- A proactive problem-solver with excellent attention to detail.
