A welcoming and well-established nursing home in Cheshire is seeking an experienced and passionate Nursing Deputy Manager to support the Home Manager in providing exceptional care and clinical leadership.

The Role:

As Nursing Deputy Manager (Clinical), you will play a key role in supporting the Home Manager to ensure safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in line with CQC standards and best practice.

You will:

  • Provide clinical leadership and guidance to the nursing and care teams.
  • Oversee care planning, medication management, and clinical documentation.
  • Conduct audits and maintain regulatory compliance.
  • Lead by example, promoting a culture of kindness, professionalism, and accountability.
  • Take responsibility for the operational management of the home in the absence of the Home Manager.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families, and external professionals to ensure consistent, person-centred care.

What We're Looking For:

  • NMC Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) with a valid PIN.
  • Proven experience as a Deputy Manager or in a senior clinical leadership role within a care home.
  • Excellent understanding of CQC standards and safeguarding procedures.
  • Strong communication, mentoring, and leadership skills.
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality, person-centred care that promotes dignity, choice, and wellbeing.
