About the Role

A leading chemical and polymer manufacturer is seeking an experienced Shift Analyst to join their team in Cheshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for candidates with proven plant-based laboratory analytical and wet chemistry skills to work in a high-performing, safety-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-quality analytical testing in a manufacturing environment
  • Carry out titrations, GC analysis, and/or IC/ICP testing, depending on your skillset
  • Ensure compliance with strict safety protocols and laboratory best practices
  • Accurately record and interpret results to support operational decision-making
  • Collaborate closely with production and process teams to maintain quality standards

What We're Looking For

  • Valid UK driving licence (essential)
  • Previous experience working in a chemical or polymer manufacturing environment (essential)
  • Skilled in at least one but ideally several of the following:
    • Titrations
    • Gas Chromatography (GC)
    • Ion Chromatography (IC)
    • Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) analysis
  • Strong awareness of laboratory safety and good laboratory practice
  • Proactive, adaptable, and willing to work both day and night shifts
