Responsibilities:As a Material Handling Operator, you will:
- Efficiently manage stock movements within the warehouse
- Load and unload goods with care and precision
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Ensure the workspace is clean and organised
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- Previous experience in material handling or warehouse operations
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
- Ability to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment (certification preferred)
- Basic computer skills for inventory management
- SAP experience or equivalent WMS/IMS
- A proactive and positive attitude
Desirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience):While not essential, the following will give you an edge:
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations specific to warehousing
- Familiarity with stock management systems
- Team leadership experience
