Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting enthusiastic and adaptable Supply Teachers to work across a network of excellent secondary schools throughout Cheshire, including Chester, Ellesmere Port, Northwich, and surrounding areas.

Whether you're newly qualified, returning to teaching, or seeking a better work-life balance, this is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a range of settings without the planning and marking workload of a permanent role.

About the Role:

As a Supply Teacher, you will deliver pre-planned lessons across a variety of subjects and year groups, manage classroom behaviour, and ensure students remain engaged in learning. Assignments range from day-to-day cover to longer-term placements based on your preferences and availability.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
  • Adapt quickly to different school environments and routines.
  • Maintain good classroom management and ensure a positive learning atmosphere.
  • Follow school policies and ensure safeguarding procedures are upheld.
  • Provide feedback to departments as required.

To be considered for this role, we will need -

  • Qualified Teaching Status in the UK with experience in Primary Education.
  • Proof of Right to Work, this could be your Passport or Birth Certificate.
  • A CV that covers 10 years of education or employment.
  • A fully enhanced DBS certificate or be willing to process one with us. (We will refund the cost of the DBS)
