Tradewind Recruitment is currently working with a well-regarded secondary school in Cheshire East to recruit a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to start immediately. This is a full-time, long-term role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

Whether your specialism is Biology, Chemistry or Physics, this is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young minds and contribute to a department known for delivering engaging and high-quality science education.

The Role:
  • Delivering dynamic and interactive Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4.

  • Planning and assessing in line with the national curriculum and departmental schemes of work.

  • Encouraging student curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of scientific enquiry.

  • Monitoring progress, identifying areas for development, and supporting students to achieve their full potential.

  • Taking part in departmental meetings, school events, and CPD opportunities.

Ideal Candidate:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.

  • A degree in a science-related subject.

  • Recent experience teaching Science in a UK secondary school.

  • Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to motivate and engage students.

  • A current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply for one through Tradewind Recruitment.
